If you are interested in becoming a member of Frankford CDC's Board of Directors and helping to shape the future of Frankford, please let us know. Here is more information about the CDC and what it means to be a member of our Board:
The Frankford Community Development Corporation is a 501(c)(3), non-profit organization serving the Frankford neighborhood. The purpose of the organization is to assist residents, elected officials, businesses and other stakeholders in revitalizing a declining area. Revitalization is being accomplished by applying economic and community development techniques and through partnerships with all of the stake holders.
FCDC is contracted to act as a liaision between the businesses in the Frankford Avenue Commercial Corridor and the City of Philadelphia available services (from taxes to L&I, and everything in between).
FCDC Board members are required to attend all meetings and the annual planning retreat: meetings are held once a month on the third Thursday of the month from 4:00pm to 6:00pm. There are no meetings scheduled during the months of August and December. FCDC Board members are expected to contribute volunteer time to all FCDC events and to serve on their choice of committee(s).
Please contact Board Chair Marie DeLany (marie@overingtonhouse.org) or Tracy O'Drain (todrain.fcdc@gmail.com) if you have any questions.
